Almost losing Jasper the Penguin from the sidebar of my other blog turned my face a sallow color. Fortunately, both my virtual pet and the color in my face returned shortly thereafter.

I can see why your face turned a sallow color when you lost Jasper. After all, it is such fun to make him fall off into the water.
It's one of my favorite pasttimes!
As much as my sallow complexion needs fresh air to invigerate it, I fear I'd go blue, if I fell into Jaspers waters!
