The next morning, Princess Amelia headed for St Paul’s Cathedral. Lord Hastings was sure to be at Sunday service and maybe she could speak with him. Quietly, so as not to disturb the worshipers, she entered the back of the church. Bishop Terrick, resplendent in his ecclesiastical robes, roared retribution and hellfire over the congregation.
