Okay, I understand that my fashion sense at the soiree was terrible, but when some of the ladies resorted to calling me a reprobate, well, I thought that was a bit much.

No, it's a joke. Earlier this month, the word was soiree and we've let things spiral out of hand ever since! It's kind of become a game to see how many of the "Word of the Day" words we can use to talk about this fake soiree. Thank you for your concern though!
The hostess reprobated the inappropriatly dressed girl at the soiree, which eventually led to her being asked to leave. Next time she will know not to wear jeans and a hoodie to such a swanky affair. :)
